ReplyDeleteIt bothers me to think just how many of our countrymen and women suffer like this. I am sure many are to proud to ask for help, and cannot help but think it is a reflection on just how isolated we are to the people around us!
I completely agree with you Joe. I think it's awesome that you are bringing such tragedies to light. We as a country need to stay alert, aware and care for others. Good thought provoking article.

ReplyDeleteThis is a sad story but also highlights the isolation that people experience in the cities. In most cities, people don't even know they're neighbors besides waving hi ever so often. People do not want to let others into they're life..and she was not different in that. It is the lack of trust that is so prevalent in today's world.
